These trays are inspired by the work of Rembrandt and celebrates the union of Marten and Oopjen Soolmans. Rachel Convers re-enacts the scene of their singular nuptial parade where the lovers, with their immaculate plumage of newly-weds invent a new language of love. Adorned with a delicate rose and a fan of white feathers, Oopjen seems to yearn for the butterflies released by Marten that incarnate lucky charm messengers…
